The Columbia Nailers and Mt. Pleasant Tigers youth football programs played three games Oct. 20 at Lindsey Nelson Stadium, with the Tigers sweeping the PeeWee (age 5-7), Minors (age 8-10) and Majors (age 11-12) contests.
The Tigers’ PeeWees won 36-6, with the Minors winning 24-0 and the Majors 8-0.
Mt. Pleasant’s PeeWees and Majors teams will play home games in the first round of the upcoming Tri-County junior pro football league playoffs, as will the Nailers Minors team.
