Columbia Academy’s Austin Kimes and Lawrence County’s Colton Moore are among the state’s bowlers recognized by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association as all-state performers as the teams were announced Friday.
Kimes, a Martin Methodist College bowling scholarship signee, placed fifth in the Division II state tourney, the best performance by a Bulldog kegler in the program’s history.
Moore finished third in the Division I tournament, winning three ladder match contests to advance to the state semifinals.
